I've been in the beauty industry for many years, with my journey beginning in 2004 when I qualified as a Makeup Artist and Hairdresser. For over a decade, I worked as a freelance artist alongside other commitments, building experience and refining my craft.
At 30, I decided to follow my passion full time and took the leap into the industry as a career. I qualified in Nails and Lashes and began working part-time at the amazing Lash and Glo in 2017.
After a few rewarding years, I was eager to expand my knowledge further and trained in HD Brows. This marked the beginning of my deep love for brows and set me on the path I proudly walk today.
After mastering HD Brows, I decided to expand my skills into Permanent Brow Make-up. I chose to train with PhiBrows, a world-leading company in the industry, and qualified in Microblading in 2018.
In 2019, I noticed the Henna Brow trend gaining popularity on Instagram. At the time, it was still relatively unknown in my area, so I quickly became certified to stay ahead of the curve. I was the first person to offer Henna Brows in Cambridge, and within just a few months, I had an eight-week waiting list. Henna Brows proved to be an incredible bridge between HD Brows and PhiBrows, offering clients a bold transformation while helping them decide if they were ready for a more permanent solution.
During the pandemic, I welcomed my first child and took some time off for maternity leave. Even while away, I remained committed to learning and completed a course in Powder Brows to further enhance my skill set.
By 2022, I returned with new knowledge and a renewed passion. I began working from both the salon and my new home studio to balance my career with being a mum. My home salon has since become my pride and joy.
Now in 2025, with three beautiful children and three successful years of working from home, I couldn’t be happier. My journey continues to grow alongside my family, and I’m so proud of everything I’ve built.
